It could just be a non malignant tumour (think their the ones that arent dangerous), I remember an old dog that used to live near my dads and it was covered in these lumps all over its body but it lived on and was fine, not all tumours are bad. How old is your dog? It could just be some kind of cyst/abscess insect bite that has got infected or a grass seed imbeded in the skin. Hope it goes ok at the vets.

My dog had one on her backside, although it wasnt cancerous, it was huge tho and really unsightly, but because of where it was they couldnt remove it. She was really old almost 15 old for a german shepard, and she was still fit and well in herself, eventually her back legs went and we had to put her down, but it wasnt due to the lump.

Hope it goes ok for you hun Smile
