Bats are lovely, ive always wanted to cuddle one lol they are like mini pugs with wings.

Id get someone to check if they are in your loft because they are protected and you cant disturb or move them but they can also carry rabies which is obviously dangerous

Bat Conservation Trust helpline on 0845 130 0228

Also DEFRA have more info- http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/diseases/notifiable/rabies/index.htm

Id get your loft checked just to make sure, by someone who has had the vaccine. Because of where my parents live their house and land is protected under DEFRA and they have officials who come and check what is living in the grounds and my mum keeps records too. She found a polecat pelt a while back.
