Mothercare urban detour - seat strap

Post by aims on Tue Jun 15, 2010 4:58 pm

Hope this is in the right section...

My friend just gave me this travel system for when the baby comes. It's a 3 wheeler and looks pretty good, despite it being a little bulkier than I was hoping for - it's free and more than adequate!

Anyway, the seat of the pushchair is adjustable as it has a clip at the back of it, and one of the clip fittings is missing, so currently the chair is permanently in recline. Do you think Mothercare might have replacements if I call them or would I have to get the whole chair thing? Can you think of anywhere else I might be able to get this clip to sew it on to the back?

Any guidance would be really appreciated!

if not then im sure you can get those type clips from a haberdashery shop, then just put them on to it yourself.

Thanks mimi - will give it a try if all else fails - my mum's really good at sewing so it'd never fall off again!!

I just called mothercare and they said to take the pushchair in to the shop so they can have a look - they'd then be able to order any spare parts - worth a try I guess.
