Had a milk token issue yesterday GRRR
so i got some of those healthy start vouchers through was like, GREAT EXTRA FORMULA FOR THESE TWO AND SOME FRESH FRUIT ETC
or so i thought ...goes into asda and picks up a tin each for them and goes and gets some fruit and veg and some normal milk with the extra that was left over....takes it to the counter and she runs the items all through and then says ..."erm i dont think you can have the baby milk off these" im standing there like WHAT??? (i mean thats what they are actually issued for) so i look at the coupon and it does say fruit , veg, milk and infant formula...even though i was standing telling her what it said on the voucher and that ive used them b4 for he baby milk she was adamant it wasnt and i was wrong...at this point there was a que forming and i was getting more and more embarrassed by the minute cos i felt like a tramp and felt like just saying YA KNOW WHAT FORGET IT! so anyway after asking two staff and the people behind me staring and judging (what i felt like) i got the all my stuff off he vouchers...
she said they have been told its not for baby milk....i told her she had better tell her superiors they are wrong then and if it were to happen gain i wouldnt be back and just take them to morrisons...fecking joke though i felt Really small when she was doing that and waving them at a colleague two rows down...i mean ffs...so just watch the next time you go into any shop incase they try the same thing

Thats not very kind of her.
If its written on them, then they have to take them.
I'd write a letter having a moan.

I knew I had read that somewhere Kerry, I get the vouchers too, cos Im on benefits and Phoebe is under 4, it does say INFANT formula, that means babies milk.
Kirsty is Erin about 4 yrs old? Cos these new vouchers where only introduced when Phoebe was about 6 months, and the vouchers that were out before them you had to go to the health centre for your baby milk, but you could use them in shops to get fresh milk, I used to have those sort when Jess was a baby.
Re: Had a milk token issue yesterday GRRR
