Re: Breed my hamster?
They breed pretty well but you could end up with loads of the little buggers lol. What would you do with babies? Have got got homes for them or would you sell them in pet shop/sell private. They are common pets so you should get rid easy!!! xx

Re: Breed my hamster?
Personally I wouldnt risk it after all you dont know how tinkerbelle and your mums hamster would react to each other. Syrian hamsters are pretty solitary animals and dont do well together in fact they are known to fight/kill each other. However that obviously doesnt always happen however it is a risk of introducing them together which I'm sure you already know lol... I think I'd just leave it as she sounds happy as she is.

Re: Breed my hamster?
yeah im thinking of just leaving it. i had two syrian hamsters when i was younger and one absolutely mauled the other during a cage cleanout..... was a bloody mess i can tell you! rip beady
dont think i will risk it as even though tinkerbell is a hamster and a timid little thing she has her own personality and very cute and loving at the same time.

Re: Breed my hamster?
hamsters are vicious little things arent they hun makes you wonder how they actually come to breed though if they are so anti social lol, saying that its same with alot of animals I suppose. Shame you cant invest in another kind of animal to breed lol.

Re: Breed my hamster?
I think you have more chances of hell freezing over hun. What you need is a male stud dog reap the reward by loaning him out for cash cos you get paid even if he dont sire pups lol
