Please help, I need advice.

We have a cat called Cookie who we have had for 11 years, since we have had the kids she has kept more and more out of the way. It has got to the stage now where she will just come in in the morning for her food (when the kids are asleep) and then go straight back out again and we don't see her until the next morning.

Do you think I should try and find someone to take her off our hands so she can have a better life, I would love her to be part of the family but she is just too nervous around the kids. Would hate to get rid of her but if it is better for her then maybe I should find another owner for her.

What do you think ladies? xx

Think i agree with Elaine, even if you got her a new home she might just be the same as that is her routine now and if shes happy then thats all that matters

I agree with the others there is no point causing her a new stress by rehoming her as she sounds content in her routine.
