Went to Sainsburys yesterday and today and got some pretty decent stuff that was reduced. Got a whole chicken for £2.84, lamb mince for £1.50 and then today two packs of their taste the difference range mince beef for £1.60 each. I'm pretty chuffed with those esp as meat is so expensive too. If I'd have had a bit of extra cash I'd have snapped up the 10 chicken breasts for £7.50 however didnt have the money to spare today but still will get a good 6 meals out of the mince meats and 1-2 meals out of the whole chicken which isnt too bad.

yesterday i got two packs of leak and pork sausage, the taste the expensive from asda for only £1.80 all together when it should have been 2 for a fiver

I love getting reduced stuff esp the stuff that freezes. No doubt will have another look on Friday when I'm next in town and next have some cash.

if it reduced and freezes it's in my trolley i'm such a tight arse lol

i never buy reduced meat unless its for rich stupid arent i but i worry lol x

Debs whats there to worry about as sell by date is different to use by date and if your freezing it anyway it makes absolutely no difference.
