do you spend on kids at xmas? do you spend more on xmas than birthdays?

its eilidh's birthday the 19th Dec which is obv only a few days before xmas!! argh...who's idea was it to have a winter baby. x

i spend bout £50 on birthdays but they also have a party - genes party is in 4 weeks and thos its a joint party still costing a bomb - christmas i spent b out £200 ech give or take - i save all year putting a bit away for christmas n birthdays each week! xx

errm we spent £350 on lucy for her bday and about that or more for her xmas

suppose it depends on age of kids as obv some big things cost a lot. i've normally been about £200 for conor for birthday plus party and xmas but having the 2 of them this year and eilidh's birthday soo close! argh!

I'm in same boat hun when it comes to pressies for the kids, I don't have set limits right now just buying bits in that I think they will like only problem is mine already have so much stuff and I have nowhere to put it lol.

i usually just buy what i think he will like, i dont really set a budget, but this year his birthday presents prob came to about 70. Im not spending too much on his this christmas. To be honest i have no idea what to get thim, but thats another thread.

since the boys have been born they've had roughly about £1000-£1500 each for birthdays then again at xmas, but this year as they have so much and saving to go away they've had about £50 each or so, they've got 2 toys each, pair of pj's and a couple of pairs of socks

I spend about £250-£300 each at christmas and £50 each for presants for Bdays, then they'll have a cake, meal out, that sort of thing.....

each birthday and xmas? omg! see my family etc all buy loads too. plus no way we'd afford all that. x

i've gone to extremes every year hun, it's ridiculous, the boys have more clothes and toys than i have places to put them, it's beyond a joke.

so this year i've restricted myself (we've had to really) and the boys pressies are sorted and out the way, i'd sooner them now have an amazing 2 weeks in florida and love every minute of it than 1 day of ripping paper and boxes to pieces x

we spend about £150 on callie for her birthday then xmas about £350-£400. we go a bit mad at xmas, said we wouldnt this year but she has lots already plus she gets lots off family too!

i usually spend about 300ish at xmas ad then they get 50 for birthdays, although this yr jess had 150 for her bday as she was 16, but kelsey will get tje same when she is older.

my kids get between £30 to £100 for birthdays, as one year they have a party so they get less spent and the next year they dont so get more spend on their prezzie, as for xmas they get about £300 each but i save all year for xmas
