they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
now, sorry for swearing in here, but when i got home with harrison yesterday afternoon he came out with that the nursery staff had called the head master in to tell him off all because he wouldn't eate his fruit, he's been in the nursery now since may 2010 and has never eaten fruit he entertain it, i've even tried to get him to eat it at home he just doesn't like the textures of it. Am I in the wrong here for thinking that calling the head master in is extreme??? especially considering he's only in nursery! and apparently when i spoke to mr sharp a few weeks ago he blatently said to me "I don't get involved with the nursery, as the staff are well equipped and know exactly what their doing"
Their going to get such a mouthful today when i take him in, thankfully neil isn't off work till friday and i'm hoping he'll forget by then or all hell will break loose at the school as neil was fuming when he found out last night x

oh my goodness they have no right to tell you off for not eating your fruit never mind calling the head in about it its a snack they give the kids if they dont want it it doesnt matter matilda wont eat bananas when its banana day and its never a problem.
I dont blame you for saying something hes not going to come out with a comment like that if hes not actually been told that so they cant turn around and say he's making it up.
Scools/nurserys they seem to be a pain in the bum lately
xx

Re: they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
OMG I'd be livid, its not their place to tell a child off for not eating their fruit/veg not everyone likes it. I can understand if he's playing with it and throwing it about then fair enough tell a kid off for doing that but just for not wanting to eat something is ridiculous. That nursery soujnds like a right shambles.

Re: they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
it never used to be like that, it's only since the new head took over and also since there has been someone new take over in the nursery and yes she may have training in childcare but she doesn't have children of her own! and the head master may think he knows whats best but he only has 1 child who is 7 months old!! they'll be getting a piece of my mind today and it just happens that harrison has been dry at night for god knows how long now and last night he wet the bed, coincidence i think not
Re: they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
Not only will he not eat it because he doesn't like the texture but he had abad experience with an apple when he was about 2ish and almost chocked to death on a small chunk of it and wouldn't go it any fruit since x
Re: they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
my sister choked on a banana and has never been able to eat one again and she refuses to eat any fruit and shes 29 now lol its not the end of the world bless him.
Poor little dude he was probably upset about it all

Re: they taking the p**s **UPDATE**
well i took him in at dinner and spoke to the head of the nursery and she said it was nothing to do with fruit as he sat with her yesterday and apparently "ate" his fruit (some how i don't think so) anyway they were in the hall rehearsing for their concert on thursday and harrison and a couple of others were messing around so they called in the head master to tell them the nursery rules ect and harrison got really upset.... well wouldn't you if you were 4 years old and a guy who's 6ft 3ish came and stood towering above you shouting at you?? i think any child would cry in fear!
I'm sick of it, i would go and see the head master myself but he makes you feel like your back in school yourself and can't tolerate people like him, he makes me want to punch him in the mouth, needless to say it was a waste of time and i was just fobbed off with a load of bull s**t!!

awe no way poor little man. Not sure what else to suggest apart from putting in an official letter of complaint about what happened.
