Do you have Step-parents???

i grew up with step-parents as my mum married 3 times lol and was with 2 other guys.

the first guy after my mum divorced my dad was nice and we called him dad but two years of living with my mum turned the poor guy nuts and he left, after that i vowed never to call another man dad which was sad as i was only 8 at the time.

the last step dad i had was Billy, god we clashed on so many tings but we were so alike but again he eventually left as my mum drove him away. if it wasn't for that man god knows how i would have turned out so i owe him everything. i'm still in touch with him and i do regard him as my dad as he was there for the tough times and always believed in him.

i feel for step parents as they have to take on so much and get a lot of crap from the kids if they are older, it's human nature to resent someone taking over a loved ones place.

Now that i'm older i understand hat he went through as regards to parenting lol and we laugh so much about our fights whenn we talk on the phone.

i had a step dad, but unfortunately he and my mum are now divorced, butr he was my stepdad from when i was 3. but the still have a fantastic friendship and he see's lucy and erin as often as he can as he now lives in Jersey.

I dont speak to my real dad, he doesnt even know lucy is here and tbh, i couldnt careless about him

i have a step dad tho we dont speak at all now - he came in to my life wen i was 7 and from wen i was 11 till i was 15 we were very close more cuz i had stopped talking to my dad but then my dad died and my and my step dad havent got along since to the point now we wount be in the same room together i dont like him 1 bit to many things have gone off for me to forgive - now i am one lol xx

My mum and dad divorced when i was 5 and i had a step dad, i hated him coz i felt like he took my mum away, eventually i accepted him but then something happend and i hated him.
Later my dad remaried so i had a step mum aswel and we got on gr8.
My fiancee is now step dad to my lil girl and she calls him dad, she still sees her dad every week.

I had a step mum but her and my dad r now divorced but i still go and see her when i go to norwich and abbi calls her nanna which my step mum loves! i'm also a step parent to my partners two boys their mum died a few years ago so i know how hard it was for them to accept me into their lives but we all get on great (most of the time) but i won't deny it is hard taking on someone else's children and its hard to learn to love them like ur own as u havent got that maternal instinct for them like u have ur own child that ya have given birth to but i try my hardest and just hope my best is goodenough for them

I did see my Dad years ago and he remarried to a dragon! LMAO

i didnt have step parents but do now my mom and dad seperated a few years ago i know have a 22 year old step mom and my moms bf whos a few years younger then my mom xxx

It was at first espcially as shes the same age as my younger sister....i ddint really get on with her at first i just used to ignore her but shes ok..we chat but i wouldnt call her my friend..i mean the worst part was shes a minger??? i mean i know me and my sister's arnt the prettiest girls around but hes pulled a 22 year old fat minger??? i mean she wears joggers and no make-up at all...she looks more like a man?? even when we go to family parties she wears trainers?????My moms 20 years older then her and alot prettier?? i think he pulled her cuz she was young i mean he used to brag he had a 19 year old girlfriend but my Mick used to look at me like yeah buts shes a dog?? people use to just laugh at him cuz shes a dog!!
