How am I meant to
keep my donkey of a dog calm? The vets says to keep him from bounding about which with Ty is almost impossible cos as soon as you go to open the back door to let him up he is jumping up at the door. He's already made his wound bleed today after having the dressing taken off because I nipped to my dad and my dad thought it would be good to let him in the back garden. Well lets just say old habbits die hard with him and he was leaping and bounding about like I dont know what as soon as he was free.
Got to take him back to vets next sat hopefully for his final visit and stitches out.

Re: How am I meant to
I know I think its because its higher up so he's not having to put pressure on it. Still he yelped when the nurse was trying to remove the bandage we had a right cuddle throughout the examinations, he's such a softie at heart lol...

Re: How am I meant to
he is driving me mad with it, OH can get him to go outside nice and calm but I cant however as soon as OH comes back in he starts darting about like a maniac, I'm at the end of my tether with him as I dont want him to split it open anymore than what he has already as it will cost even more and I seriously cant afford it. At this rate he will only be going out in the garden for the bathroom and that will only be when I can get time to supervise him on the lead. This just isnt going to work is it.
