allergic!! PMSL

me that is haha.
i have allergies to grass and hay .... i also have hayfever.... have been totally fine this entire summer.
just cleaned out peppas cage and put newspaper down then some hay (as she was making some mess with the wood shavings)
and put some hay in her bale thingy. shes all chuffed and it looks lovely all clean etc.

i hoovered and have sat down to a coffee to only find myself breaking out lol.... but of my cream will take the itch off but i`ll have to go get my anti histamines now .... great allergic!! PMSL Icon_rolleyes

think i`ll have to revert back to the wood shavings and just be a clean freak again lol as i had no problems with that...can feel it all over my face aswell and my eyes and neck & throat are itchy PMSL...only me eh?

cant you use those things that look like pellets for guinea pigs/hamsters they might be better for you both. Hope your allergy settles down today hun.

ahh dunno i`ll have to get a wee look ...probably end up sticking to the wood shavings anyway .... just have the hoover glued to me 24/7 lol

Are the shavings really that bad lol? Saying that I've only ever had hamster/mice and they were in tanks not cages so never had to deal with shavings out of enclosures.

erm well peppa+shavings= very very big mess lol...she likes to run away and kick her shit and shavings up at you lol...no probs so far with the hay other than the allergy lol

dont think i was ...it`ll get better in time probably as shes still getting used to the cage etc and obviously being round us...she runs in her house when anyone walks past her cage and will only come out to taylor lol
