hmm dont know whats going

to happen if I get admitted to hospital, seriously dont know what to do with my snakes as Chris wont see to them especially monty as he is such a tempermental little sod. Ok I know he'll be fine without food for when/if I'm in hosp however what if he does a poo and needs cleaning out or needs his water changing. Reason why chris wont see to him is because monty will quite happily strike at you if you disturb him when he doesnt want to be or isnt expecting it. He looked scared enough when I was getting Monty out of the shoe box I'd put him in whilst cleaning out his tub as he started hissing at me when I went to pick him up, but its not suprising really as he is going into shed so is probably feeling really uncomfy right now. I know he'll be ok to see to Pai as she is smaller and more pleasant to handle and doesnt even come out unless she is hungry and then she will look at you as if to say come on bring on the food mum... Hopefully I wont be admitted however what would you guys do if you were in my position and got admitted? Do you think the hosp would let me out should I need to see to my pets?

well my dad has just been and I've asked him if his friend who came to check over Pai would consider having him should I end up in hospital for some time. He says he thinks he'll be able to do that for me.

dont get me wrong i used to shite myself when i was feeding my monty incase he struck ...you just dont know when they are gonna because of lack of expression. so i see chris` point there haha.

but then its not just your job to do it. thats like disliking your dog and you having to do absolutely everything ...what would happen then? so i think you should teach him how to handle monty.

p.s my bro just got two snakes too...ones a corn snake and the other is a royal python...names are jackie(has one eye) and thomas i think he said the other one was lol... they let my nephew handle them :O 2 year old and hes into feeding them and everything lol...her dads a bit of a snake man himself he has loads and he gave them those two they got

Tell your bro to try not to handle the royal too much, also they are renowned for going off their food easily mine do it all the time lol....

I just have to laugh at Chris and his dislike well its more that he doesnt trust them as he cant read their expressions. Monty will often warn me before going to bite when annoyed and will only really strike when hungry I've learnt to try and feed him with the lid almost completely closed and to wear gloves just incase he miss strikes, luckily I dont feed by hand but by tongs.

i have gloves that might be good for you ...i gave my bro a pair and he wants another tomorra...they are special ones...pm me your address and i`ll post a couple down to you (new in pack aswell).

its ok I've got gardening gloves that do the trick but thanks anyway hun. Ha ha Monty doesnt do a dance he just pulls his head back a bit and will then lunge forward.
