how about something different like a diablo? I know it sounds a strange gift to get but a few years ago Chris nephews had people come to the school doing diablos and they all got into them and even now at at 13/15 still love playing with them even his 10yr old nephew likes to play with them.

those paper jamz are supposed to be really good. My stepson is 9 and he loves wwe wrestling, their website has a lot on and argos sell the ring and little figures.

Chemistry sets are good too cause boys love to experiment toys r us have a spongebob pinball for 9.99... i know that ones going on callums christmas list haha. Sea monkeys, a dictaphone (i know sounds strange, but boys like them!) anything with gunge in it, the greener and oozier the better. If he likes books the horrid histories etc ones are good, prepaid cinema ticket/bowling or similar. Swamp monsters seopolis (15 in t r us)

hth
