ooh come to a compromise

I might well be getting myself a royal python in the next few months, Chris said I could have one if I let him do his motorbike theory so of course I've said yes but he has to fund it himself and pay off his big tv that his mum is nagging me about. Going to start looking at prices of equipment and pythons lol, heatmats are cheap and so are the big plastic tubs which you can keep them in too I'm reckoning about £150 inc snake lol

yes lol... they are cheap and easy to keep only need feeding once a week also which is great.

Omg i couldnt think of anything worse, i hate snakes and the thought that it could escape and get me aaarrrgggghhhhh

julie dont!!! I had one, waste of time and money!! cheap to feed them (like £1 per week, but it cost me just over £500 for my vivarium etc. (and that was me getting my python for free)
they have no personality, dont move unless you bring them out, you dont know when they are gonn bite either and when they do OMFG!!! (not been bitten but my ex was and it was like 6inch needles stuck in his wrist!!

PMSL elaine, I think they do have personality well when you handle them suppose its like any reptile, yeah the thought about being bitten scares the hell out of me same with feeding them. The Viv I'm looking at is only about £100 brand new, only need a 3ft viv apparently or you can keep them in big plastic tubs apparently which cost no more than £20. Only time will tell if I get one but at least he is backing down on saying no to one lol... Royals look gorgeous. What did you have elaine a burmese or a royal?

ha ha do what I would if I was a teenager again (after seeing initial basic set up lol) just get one and hide it and set up under the bed lol.... Get it out and feed it when he isnt about.

i had a royal...4ft at 8mths old chick...mine was estimated to grow between 8ft & 12ft he was a big guy...hence the name monty (python lol)

Wow elaine that sounds like a monster... According to the reptile forum I'm on they dont grow much bigger than 6ft.... Hmmm going to do plenty of research. Someone on gumtree had a male and female with viv for £200 which aint bad price but you have to pay to sign up to gumtree to respond to adds before 10days is up. Looks like I'm in for doing lots of research
