Finches going tonight (now gone)

Well I'm hoping the finches will be collected tonight, I posted them on the trust forum and someone with an aviary is able to give them a new home which is fab as they will be with other finches and canaries. I hope they settle in well. Kinda sad to see them go however it is for the best and certainly wont miss the mess. but will miss the chirping noise they make. Chris has even given them extra cottonwool for their nest today too as they seem to like it.

Nah elaine, I cant keep em they take too much time and are so noisy plus its not fair on em to be kept in the cage. Going to get Morgan some white cloud minnows me thinks.

Well the person whos having them's daughter came to pick them up, she was lovely showed me some of the other birds they owned and will be sharing with in avery which was nice. Turns out the lady who came to collect them works for my fav petshop too and is returning at end of month when she finishes her mat leave, she couldnt believe how excited Paige got when I took the snake out for her to see. She also breeds rabbits and said if I ever want one to see her for them which is cool. She told me how she was going to get the birds acclimatised into their new home starting in greenhouse as they have been kept indoors then next week they are going to put the cage in the aviary with door open to let them come out on their own terms which is what I would expect. Seriously I cannot have asked for a better place for them to go to and it was courtesy of works forum where I got the wii from lol...
