OMG OMG
SEriously cant believe it but Pai the python has finally had her first ever feed from us. I'm dead chuffed, ok so chris had to cut the poor baby mouse head open but still it worked. First we tried just offering her it without head open and she just sniffed it so after 20mins took it out and cut it, chris exposed a bit of brain and we put it back in on a bit of plastic that I was about to move when all of a sudden she struck it didnt half make me jump as wasnt expecting that at all, well the force of her doing that made the brains go flying everywhere too it was gross, had to clean the plastic and going to have to clean the viv now too :suspect: . Can you tell though I'm over the moon that she has finally eaten as thought I was going to have to give her up to someone who knew what they were doing. I rang my dad straight after to tell him to tell his mate for me so he's going to do that tonight as he is off to the motor bike meeting to which the guy goes to.

Re: OMG OMG
yep def glad he did that part, thing is though she is now looking for more so dunno whether or not to risk letting her have another or just leave her until back end of week to make sure she keeps it down as she hasnt eaten in so long. Going to go onto the reptile forum to ask their opinion I think

Re: OMG OMG
Lol elaine. they say you shouldnt heat them in the microwave as they can explode, I heat/defrost mine in boiling water although did try using my hair dryer the other night but for some reason it was blowing cold even on hottest setting which is not good.
