Re: to get a friend for peppa?
i just phoned pets at home and they said peppa is 10weeks (just under) and that there is a chance another pig wont get one with her as there is different scents? i dont want the wee soul to be lonely and would like her to have a friend.
she is and will be getting loads of attention but i read the booklet and it says they liek each others company. shame they didnt have more than one yesterday.
what do i do then?

Re: to get a friend for peppa?
go to another pet shop and see if they have any. Well thats if you really want to get her a friend. Thing is can you afford a 2nd set up should they not get on?

Re: to get a friend for peppa?
ah well in that case if you want another get one, it might just take time anyway also you wont know if you guinea pig is sociable or not until you get another anyway as you never know even at a young age they might not get on.

Re: to get a friend for peppa?
If you get another pig, introduce them slowly but letting them go in a run together, rather than putting them in the cage together at once. Also, if you get another, wash and clean the cage, dishes, this is to get peppas scent off it, put all new bedding in then they won't be territorial as to who's cage it is. If they don't get on you'll need to be prepared to buy another cage xx
