wont let us pick her up
she keeps "bucking" her back legs out and scratching at us...hasnt bitten yet but had a chew at the sleeve on my jumper lol.
i defo think she aint happy with the hay as bedding. So thats out the window tomorra as soon as i can get some wood bedding for her.
how do i get her to stop running or turning and bucking at us?
she will come over after a while of us being sat at the cage open. but as soon as i put my hands in to lift her she runs and does that bucking thing.
any help appreciated only been like this the last 2 - 3 days really and even though we could pick her up before she still squirmed and i had to use a towel but even not shes butting the towel out the way turning and scratching lol she aint daft is our peppa hehe

Re: wont let us pick her up
I think you just need to do what your doing and sit there with cage open and let her come to you hun. Some animals just dont like being handled alot so a bit of perseverance should help.

Re: wont let us pick her up
When you get her out, don't hesitate, just get her, sit her on ur knee and give her some celery/carrot etc, you've got to gain her trust...nice bonding time!! She'll stop as soon as she realises that "wow I get food when I go to mum" pmsl!!
