saving or paying off debts
it doesn't matter
what would you like to save for or are you trying to clear a debt off
i'm doing a bit off both tbh
rob ran up my credit card as he had a second card, he even bought my crimbo pressies on it the year before last but because it's in my name i have to clear it so i'm aiming to get that halfed this year at least
i also want to have some savings behind me too as you never know whats round ther corner x

Re: saving or paying off debts
i think the most i've saved was about 200 quid but by the time rob knew it was there it was gone so it's nice to be able to put money aside now
received my £50 winter fuel payment so i just stuck it in my savings account as it's £50 i didn't have.
it's nice to see the pounds mounting up

Re: saving or paying off debts
i'm trying to pay off my uni debts 6 years after leaving Wish I'd known about the Open Uni in 1999 cos I would have done my degree through that instead of the fiasco I did go through
Re: saving or paying off debts
Im gonna try and aave got my bday and marks cousins wedding this year, so every penny, Loads of ebaying for me!
Re: saving or paying off debts
we're doing both too.
i put away £10 a fortnight in my credit union thru work, i've today opened up a christmas savings a/c and putting in £20 a fortnight for xmas - you cant take it out and get it all paid out middle november!
sandy got a loan thru his credit union so we are already paying back £100 a month to a credit card he had and my next a/c, lol. then we'll be clearing more again when thats finished! we earned a fortune aswell....god knows why we got debt...oh well nevermind...we get all our bills paid and can pay them so not a big problem...would just be nice to have all that extra cash. x
