save up throughout the year for christmas? how do you do it, i.e. bank account, just in the house etc?

i put away £20 a fortnight in my credit union and that got paid out to me yesterday...but think i'm going to have to up it, lol..thats basically paid for the kids and as they get older its going to cost more! argh...x

i normally start buying one every few weeks during the august/september time. Normally by the end of september i have finish getting all the toys. I never wait for the promotion and 3 for 2 because everytime i did i the toys i wanted were sold out.

i save with park, ive had £500 this yr so a £10 a week, im gonna up it nxt yr tho maybe lol. Jess has money tho, so maybe i have enough really???

thats really good, i used to go with Park but havent this year, think i will for next year, thats good Sharon, but they do cost more as they get older! lol

I don't put any money away instead I start buying bits and bobs as I find them and usually take up on the 3 for 2 offers in boots etc esp if I get more points back due to special even will even leave myself short for the week to do so as know I can borrow it and pay it back the following week.

we save in another savings account just have a standing order go out each month. we upped it to £75 last year from £50 a month but thinking about upping it again this year lol

ive just got my credit union going... will have a little to lift out the week of xmas... ARGH!
will have alot more to get out next year hehe
