Poor Dora
Well as those who have facebook might have seen poor Dora is unwell, she has basically been at deaths door since Sunday when I took her to the vets, they wanted to keep her in and put her on an IV however I didnt/don't have £100 for them to do that so was sent home with her with some antibiotics and some dried food to mix with water to syringe feed her every 2hrs. She has been really lethargic and shaking/fitting since especially over Monday/Tuesday, infact each night I go to bed I expect to wake up the next morning and find her dead. However this morning I came down and she was still with us and a little more perkier than she had been, she's been chewing on the syringe and has been fighting me when its time to syringe feed her so its looking a little better. My friend has offered to lend me some money to take her to the vets again but I can't get her in until tomorrow evening so that is when we will be going unless of course she suddenly pegs it. I have never been on such an emotional rollercoaster in my entire life with an animal as usually when my other pets have been like this they have died within a few hours of me noticing instead Dora is throwing me curveballs each time lol.

Re: Poor Dora
Well a quick update on Dora she is still here and is getting stronger lol, had her at the vets today and have to take her back tomorrow as her temp is low and he is a little concerned that she isn't eating solids yet although he did say he was suprised that she has made such great progress because apparently when rabbits start shutting down they rarely perk up like she has so I must be doing something right as usuall they are dead within 24hrs. On another positive note since getting her home from the vets I've managed to get her to eat about an inch long carrot so thats better than nothing. She is still fighting me too the little pest. I wonder what tomorrows visit will entail.
