Just one more lol

Well getting one more crested gecko this weekend.... it is coming with its current set up although will need a proper viv soon too. Absolutely gorgeous is this one and hopefully wont be as jumpy as Chris'. I have fallen out with Chris' as was trying to get a pic of it when the ruddy thing jumped out of tank and went under the unit almost didnt get the little blighter.... I hope this one turns out to be a female cos if it does might have a go at breeding them year after next same with my leos if they are male and female might have a go at those earn a little extra cash.

Well this one with its current equipment is £90 but they are dropping it off at my home too which is lovely of the person.... A crested gecko normally sells for about £70 but thats one that is only 6wks old and doesnt have any proper patterns whereas this one is a harlequin which sells for about £80-90 at that age and more when they get older so not a bad deal really. Is my final one though.

I'm starting to get over that now even managing to pick up the mealworms and they are the ones I have biggest problem with as they bite, crickets however if you have a loo roll in their container they hid in there and you dont need to touch them just tap them out of it, but they are like little houdinis I found one in my kitchen must be from first lot I had as now have tights over their container lol... Locusts arent too bad just more expensive and can climb the glass and jump higher. I so want a royal python or corn snake hard to decide which. Going to talk to people about best one then maybe get one next year depending on finances and if we have baby #3 etc.

I've always wanted them however when the day came for me to decide upon reptile or tropical fish I went for fish stupidly I should have gone for snake at the time. I'm used to keeping and breeding tropical fish such as siamese fighters. Obviously I'm also used to your usual mamals too lol.

thats so cool, i must admit ur braver than me, i think the geckos r ssooo cute but i really couldnt handle the feeding them live insects. when i lived in new zealand our kitten used to bring in HUGE insects, crickets, cicadas (disgusting things that make a horrible screeching noise) wetas (even more horrible lol) i was terrified of them!!!

The crested geckos dont have to have live insects you can get them a powdered food that you give them which is easier
