Fraggle is here
Well my new crested gecko arrived today and I am well and truly impressed with him he is seriously gorgeous. Kind of a choclate brown colour he will happily sit on me not like Chris gecko who just jumps everywhere. I could tell his owner didnt want to part with him bless her she was nearly in tears. However she is happy that I have got him as she can tell he will be well looked after, she's even invited me to go see her pythons and handle them as mentioned that I would like one in the future. Hopefully we will become friends now, I've promised to keep her updated on his progress and said she can visit if she wants. She says its great to finally know someone else who is into reptiles as her friends and family think she is mad lol...

Re: Fraggle is here
I know he is ace.... he even curls his tail round your finger when sat on your hand. Nowhere near as jumpy as Chris gecko now named Zion. Kinda hope frggle is a girl as might have ago at breeding in the future.

Re: Fraggle is here
he's lovely i wouldn't have a clue how to look after him lol i've always loved snakes but rob won't let me have one boo hoo
Re: Fraggle is here
Crested geckos are even easier than looking after leopard geckos and they dont have to have live foods either unless you really want them to. All you need is an exoterra 45x45x60 (60 being the height) they like to climb so you will need plenty of plants but you can pick the full set up except heatmat for about £100 on ebay which is a really good price. The only thing you have to do is make sure that the temp stays around 24c with heatmat attached to side a thermostat would control that for you and then all you have to do is ensure the humidity is around 70 (you get little hydrometers that measure it). You spray them once a day and feed them on crested gecko diet which is a powder you make up. Dead easy. I want a python badly and it turns out you dont even need an expensive viv to keep one either just a HUGE plastic tub when they get big with a heatmat and feed once a week. You should convince rob to let you have a reptile lol
